These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the supply and installation of bathrooms and kitchens (“Goods”) by C&B HIS Ltd (“we,” “us,” or “our”) to the customer (“you,” “your”). By placing an order for Goods or accepting a quote given, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Quotations and Orders

  • Quotations: All quotations provided by us are valid for 1 month from the date of issue and are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Orders: All quotations need to be accepted and signed by you before the order of your Goods can be placed.

2. Goods and Specifications

  • Description: The Goods will be as described in the quotation.
  • Variations: We reserve the right to make minor variations to the Goods where necessary due to unforeseen circumstances or to comply with safety or building regulations.
  • Customer Responsibilities: You are responsible for:
  •   Ensuring that the site is adequately prepared for the installation of the Goods(e.g., water and electricity supplies, access for our installers).
  • Providing any necessary access to the property.
  • Obtaining any necessary planning permissions or building regulations approvals.

3. Extras

  • Definition: “Extras” refers to any work or materials not included in the original quotation or order confirmation, such as:
  • Changes to the original design or specifications requested by the customer.
  • Unexpected site conditions that require additional work or materials.
  • The supply and installation of items not originally included in the order (e.g., additional fixtures, fittings, or appliances).

4. Price and Payment

  • Price: The price for the Goods and any Labour will be as stated in the quote.
  • Deposits: A deposit of 5% of the total price will be required upon acceptance and confirmation of work.
  • Stage Payments: A further stage payment of 40% will be required at 2 weeks prior to your confirmed start date, unless agreed otherwise by a member of our team.
  • Final Payment: Final payment is due upon satisfactory completion of the delivery (if supply only) or installation.
  • Extras: Any Extras accumulated during the works being carried out, will be invoiced separately.

5. Installation

  • Installation Dates: We will use our reasonable endeavours to install the goods within the agreed timeframe, but we cannot guarantee specific dates or times.
  • Access: You must ensure that our installers have unrestricted access to the site during agreed installation times.
  • Customer Cooperation: You must cooperate with our installers throughout the installation process.

6. Liability

  • Limitation of Liability: Our liability for any loss or damage arising from the supply and installation of the Goods is limited to the contract price.
  • Exclusion of Liability: We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses (including but not limited to loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of data).

7. Warranty

  • Manufacturer Warranties: We will pass on to you any applicable manufacturer warranties for the Goods.
  • Our Warranty: We warrant that the Goods will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the date of installation. This warranty does not cover:
  • Fair wear and tear.
  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or accident.
  • Damage caused by third parties.
  • Defects arising from alterations or modifications made by you or third parties.

8. Termination

We may terminate this agreement immediately by written notice if:

  • You fail to make any payment when due.
  • You breach any other term of these Terms.

9. Data Protection

We will process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated Terms on our website.
